Located in South District, commonly known as the quieter and predominantly residential area in Gibraltar. The development is located in the lower region of the district and enjoys its own unique micro-climate, particularly during easterly winds which affect the town centre and north western districts.
This development was commissioned by the Government of Gibraltar during 2005/6 as a new phase of affordable housing for local first time buyers.
The location generally affords great views and aspects southward towards the Bay, Strait of Gibraltar and Africa. The district enjoys the benefit of two junior and middle schools, Loreto Convent and St Josephs.
In addition, there are numerous historic, touristic and leisure sites in the area, including Parsons Lodge, Europa Point Park, 100 Ton Gun, Rosia Bay and Camp Bay as well as the famous The Botanical Gardens.
