​Our thoughts on Brexit

“My belief in Gibraltar's strength, especially in its entrepreneurship and government convinces me that as soon as we shake off the inevitable sense of disappointment, we will start to see that there is no shortage of opportunities for this small but dynamic country.

The above; an extract from an email sent to me this morning by one of our portfolio clients.

I thought it was worthy of mention, if only to underpin the fact that Gibraltar has endured many hurdles in its illustrious history.............We have, on all occasions, emerged the better for it!

The coming weeks and months will see further news and comment with respect to our (Gibraltar's) particular position, in light of Brexit. The impact is unknown and no one should believe otherwise. However, if our story is anything to go by, it is in fact the resilience of Gibraltar, its people and our resolve that will most certainly see us through these uncertain times.

From a property perspective, we look to the very clear positives that Gibraltar continues to offer: a solid owner occupier market, with seasoned investors, in a highly regulated financial services community, steered by a stable, forward thinking Government, eager to continue and build on the success' that we have enjoyed throughout our challenging history.
